It's Friday, it's Friday! That can only mean one thing ... it's time to celebrate!

Today I'm celebrating:
- England winning their first game of the Six Nations, quite convincingly too. For those who have no idea what this is, every year there is a rugby tournament in Europe with six nations - England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Italy and France - and they play each other over six weekends. The ultimate prize is the Grand Slam, to win every one of their matches. I know it's only been the first weekend but we're on for it! It's England vs Ireland on Sunday - I can't wait!!!
- I actually managed to get myself out of bed and to work on time every day this week. This might not sound like much, but getting up at 5.30am to be at work for 7am is horrible!
- Managing to put petrol in my car before the light started beeping at me. I don't know about anyone else, but I find refueling such a chore. I know is a necessity and everything, but still ...
Enjoy the weekend everybody!!!!!

I hear on the getting up part. I gotta be up at 4:30 to be at work at 6am. Ugh! GREAT JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd refueling a chore for sure!! I also wait til it's a must.
That is an impressive list of things to celebrate! As one who also (is supposed to) get(s) up at 5:30AM, I sympathize. Hooray for the Six Nations win! May there be more! (And speaking as one who drove home with the gas light on in my car, counting the miles, I think I may have to implement a rather late New Year's resolution...
ReplyDeleteWaking up early is a killer for me so I can relate. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteGetting going in the morning -is- tough...I don't care what anyone says! Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteUnderstand about the getting up, I have to get up at 3.30 to be at work for 5, and lately I've been late quite a lot. It seems to be getting harder and harder!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about this BlogHop is celebrating the REALLY small things - like just getting up! Great post. See you next week.
ReplyDeleteYay to England's win and OMG a 530 get up is hard! Worth a celebrate!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, yay for you for getting to work on time and a big pat on the back having to get at 5:30am. Refueling IS indeed a chore, I don't let the light come up though, as soon as it hits half a tank I panic and run to refill my car... I know, I'm overboard :-/
ReplyDeleteI don't envy your wake-up time--I'm the opposite of a morning person, and just thinking about getting up at 5:30 makes me tired! [g]
ReplyDeleteCongrats to England and you - for coping through early risings with grace and feeding your car!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the refuelling issue... I often get round to doing it at the last possible moment. It seems like lots of people have a problem with the early morning wake up...
ReplyDeleteI can so relate to the gas issue! Sounds like you've had a nice week. Here's hoping the rest of the weekend is as well:)
ReplyDeleteWe've got the rugby on at the moment. I'm really not into sports but there's something about rugby that I enjoy. It's so different to football, I remember watching it a few years ago and one of the guys was arguing about the referee sending him off because he was injured but wanted to carry on playing, hehe.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've nominated you on my blog for the Liebster Award. It's for blogs with less than 200 followers and is kind of a way to find new blogs, a bit like the A to Z Challenge. My post about it will be up on Tuesday here.
FYI, I nominated you for the Liebster Award! Check out my post tomorrow (Monday) for the details!
