  1. Young Frankenstein! You don't see that on a top movie list often, although it's a great film.
You have eclectic tastes - very cool.

    1. Thanks Tim. There were so many I had to cut, it's hard whittling it down to just ten.

  8. These are all awesome choices! I have seen all of these and love them, too. The Grudge creeped me out in the shower and that little boy. Yikes!

    1. The little boy is the creepiest thing. The bit with the lift gets me every time, even though I know it's coming.

  9. Call him the bandit, great choice... i think this one had the largest impact for the buddy films for Burt.

    1. Skyfall is brilliant, I was very emotional walking out of the cinema. Your Grudge impression sounds intriguing ...

  11. Skyfall and The Grudge in the same list - respect! :) In fact your whole list is great. Do you prefer the Japanese or the US version of the Grudge? I'm a fan of the original Japanese version - scared me silly the first time I saw it.

    1. I've only seen the US version of the Grudge, I've been wanting to watch the Japanese version for ages. I'll have to get hold of a copy.
      Thanks for popping in.

  12. I, Robot is great, and Lord of the Rings is fantastic. :D I don't know if I could bring myself to watch "The Grudge"--I can only handle so much horror. I've never even heard of Paul, but the cover makes it look like it would be fun. :D

    1. Paul was excellent, I highly recommend it. When I saw the trailer i worried that it had all the best bits in it, but I was laughing so much throughout it made my tummy hurt.

  19. I like your choices but why Smokey and the Bandit II instead of the first one?

    1. My favourite bit is when the cops and truckers have their massive brawl in the desert. It's this film that made me want to be a lorry driver. Instead I had to settle for a lab technician.

  20. Some great movies in your list! A rather action-packed collection here I think :)

Just wanted to let you know that it was kind of hard for me to find your blog (I didn't come here from Alex's link, but tried your blogger profile from my blog - but it has no link to your blog). You might wanna look into amending your blogger profile so that your blog is easier to find for those who rely on Google Friend Connect to find you :)
