Express Yourself - Which character are you?

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Express Yourself meme is a weekly jaunt brought to you by Dani at Entertaining Interests and Jackie at Bouquet of Books. At the beginning of the month the girls will post a gadget with a list of topics, something different for each week. Make sure to head on over to either of these blogs to check out the details more fully and see who else is taking part.
This weeks topic of conversation: Name a movie characters personality who is you to a tee.
I don't really know about movie characters, but one TV character that I can definitely relate to is Monica Geller/Bing.
I have an unnatural obsession with keeping things clean and tidy, which has been very hard to keep control of since having my daughter.
She is now five, and between her and my husband they make sure that there is always something to be tidied.
A lot of the time I can just about deal with it, but it does stress me out sometimes and has been known to make me cry.
My daughter has even said to me that those two are the 'flingers' and I am the 'tidy-uperer'. Charming!
Who are you most like from either TV or the movies?
  1. I imagine with kids, organization and tidiness is just out the window.
    1. Out the window, down the road, over the hills and off into the distance. I love them to bits, but it's definitely frustrating!
    1. Not at all. I wonder if she'll ever grow out of it. Fingers crossed!
  3. Kids and husbands are extreme risk factors to a clean and tidy house. I know, I have one of each and my house looks like a disaster zone if you leave them alone in it, even for a short time. Still, couldn't live without them even if sometimes they make me want to pull my hair out. Keep smiling and remember, there worth it, most of the time. :) hugs xx
    1. Thanks Joss. They are definitely worth it, and I wouldn't be without them for anything. Be nice if they pitched in though ;-)
  4. Love it! I don't have the neatness obsession - and my mom is disappointed about this every single day! I'm no slob but I've learned to live with clutter ... as long as it's clean :)
    1. That's the attitude I'm trying to adopt. I can cope with the clutter for a little while, but it reaches a peak eventually. I'm trying to be better so my daughter doesn't get as obsessed as me.
    1. Chandler is great. I have to rein my humour in sometimes, I don't think people always get it and just end up thinking I'm a horrible person. Ah well, their loss.
  7. I can relate to Monica. Did you see the epi where Chandler tries to open that secret closet, but she doesn't want him to because it's messy? That is so me. lol
