Get in on the Blitz!!!

Hi folks!

I'm here today to tell you about a little thing called the Blog Blitz blog hop. Never heard of it? Really? Well, then you're missing out!

The Blog Blitz was founded in March 2013 by DL Hammons, with the main aim of offering support and encouragement in concentrated bursts to one lucky member signed up on the list.

We all have dips now and then, believe me I seem to be in a long one, and the Blog Blitz is wonderful at swooping in at the right time to give that extra boost to help us get back on the right track.

All you need to do to get involved and become a part of this valuable support network is head on over and sign up on the linky list. DL will get in touch whenever he has a new victim in mind, and then we can all descend with our love and best wishes. 

And who knows, one day it could be you! What have you got to lose?

Celebrating 1 Year of the Blog Blitz!

Next month will be the first anniversary of the Blog Blitz. The idea behind this wonderful blog hop came from DL Hammons, who wanted somewhere that bloggers can have their blogs showcased on a particular date, and everyone else involved can visit and leave encouraging comments and feedback.

Since its birth it has been used to highlight many bloggers that may have lost their way a little, and the rest of us have dropped by to offer support and, hopefully, help them back on the right path.

There is a signup list, which at the moment stands at 364 participants, and at some point everyone should be the focus of a Blog Blitz! You can recommend bloggers for a Blitz if you feel they need a boost, otherwise the choice is random. But how good would it be to have over 200+ commentors visit your blog one day?

One thing I know DL would love is to reach that magic 500 mark for participants, so what are you waiting for? Head on over to sign up, and wait for the blog blitz notifications to come rolling in. You never know, the next one might be you!

In my travels through the blogosphere over the last few days this little blog hop has come up quite a few times, and I just had to get involved.

 

The blog hop has been put together by DL Hammons at Cruising Altitude and is intended to spread the word for bloggers everywhere. All you need to do is head on over to the linky list and sign up your blog, making sure to include your email address.

 

Every so often the host will select a blog, and email the rest of the Blitz Team with the choice and a date. Then we all make the effort to visit and spread the word about the chosen blog, and also hop over to leave a word or two of encouragement in the comments. Brilliant!

 

If you're intrigued and want to get involed just hop on over to DL's and get signed up. You can then post the button on your blog and spread the word too.
