Today is the day for the Ninja Captains Best and Worst Movie Remakes.
Head over to his site, or one of his excellent co-hosts to check out more contributions to this blogfest:
At first though this seemed to be a fairly straightforward blogfest, but as usual with these things I begin to over-think and make it far more difficult for myself.
Here is what I came up with:

The original had Burt Reynolds in it. Jason Statham is brilliant in this one.
DeleteYou're the second one I've seen to post Psycho as the worst. I never saw the remake, but the original would be hard to beat!
ReplyDeleteThe original was so good, I can't believe they even contemplated a remake.
DeleteI've not watched any of these movies but Psycho was in several lists today. Thanks for participating! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
DeleteI'm with you on PSYCHO -- why mess with a classic? The B&W can't be beat.
ReplyDeleteYou're right there Milo. Thanks for stopping by.
DeletePsycho is hard to remake into something better. That movie wasn't "workshopped" enough. :)
ReplyDeleteSome things should be left alone.
DeleteNo one should be allowed to mess with classics like Psycho!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't join this blogfest because I don't watch enough movies but it's fun seeing everyone's choices :)
I thought this blogfest would be more straightforward but it was actually tough to narrow it down. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteHaven't seen any versions of Mean Machine. Still haven't seen the original Psycho, but have seen the remake. Only remember it spottily.
