Despite my excitement at finishing my English course and having the opportunity to finally get my teeth into the first four Game of Thrones books, which have been staring at me for months, I've only actually made it to page 100 of the first book. I just don't know what I've been doing with my time, and once again the reading is falling behind.
Not to worry though, I've come across a great book club that's going to keep me motivated and help me work my way through them!
Welcome to the A Song of Ice and Fire Book Club!
Jamie Gibbs at www.mithrilwisdom.com has started this great new book club, and will be making his way through the first four books in preparation for the release of the Series Four television release in March 2014.
There's still plenty of time between now and then so it should still be a fairly leisurely read.
Every couple of weeks we will be posing some questions on what we've read so far, and generally having a good ole chinwag about the books as we make our way through.
I don't know about you, but I think it's great to have people to bounce our thoughts off and keep engrossed in the story.
