Celebrate the Small Things - 12th July

This week I'm celebrating:

  • The sunshine! The weather has been beautiful all week, and although it was perhaps a little too hot for me at the beginning of the week I'm not going to complain about it. Summer may just have arrived ...
  • I dragged myself off to yoga this week, even though I didn't really fancy it. It was a hard session, but I'm glad I went. Maybe next week will be easier.
  • The weekend finally being here. I've only had a four day working week but it has draaaagggged.

Here's to a sunny weekend everybody!

  1. I find getting to yoga is the hardest part. Congrats on doing that for yourself.

    1. I agree. Once I'm there it's alright, it's the effort of making myself go that can be a struggle.
      Funny, I have the same thing with writing. Once I start I'm alright, but the initial effort can be hard.

  3. I've never tried yoga, but several of my friends really enjoy it. I guess I should give it a go sometime... Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Now I've started going I really love yoga. There's something satisfying about giving your body a good stretch.

    1. I've only been going a few weeks but my body does feel stronger already, I was quite surprised. For me, most exercise takes much longer to make me feel fitter.

  6. Oh how I miss yoga! My knee has problems and I can't do it anymore. Hopefully you'll learn to enjoy the toughness of it. It seems the sun has been showing itself off a lot lately. :) Enjoy your weekend break and may next week not be a drag. Writer’s Mark
