Look who's back! The WWBH!

Hi folks! It's been a while since last we brought you a prompt for your mid-week dose of flash fiction, but after a much needed rest we are back to get you going once again.

So, have you missed us? We'd love to know your thoughts on our little weekly hop, if you enjoy writing/reading the stories each week, is there any way we can improve? It's important to us to get it right, so that we can all still enjoy it.

The Writer Wednesday blog hop is a little something we like to bring to the writing community to help you kick-start those writing urges, to help you through a lull in your bigger projects or just a bit of fun to get you to your weekend.

As usual, there is a picture prompt and five random words, and all you have to do is give us a bit of flash fiction in 500 words or less. It's that simple.

So, to get us going once again, here is this weeks picture:

Property of H J Musk

And this weeks words:          colony, vice, vegetable, barber, trumpet

You have until the end of next Tuesday to link up your story with the linky frog below, and on Wednesday we look forward to sharing your stories as well as bringing you a brand new prompt.

Don't forget to link back to this post when you linkup and reference the WWBH. We want to spread our message as far as we can!

Taking some time out at the WWBH

Hi folks!

We're taking a break for a while over here at the WWBH, Leanne has all the details ...

WriterWednesdayButton

We're going on vacation! After at least four years of faithfully bringing you weekly photo prompts to inspire your creative side, the Writer Wednesday Blog Hop team is going on an extended (not indefinite) sabbatical to rest, regroup, and refresh.

At this point we plan on returning June 3, 2015 for some fresh summer fun with new prompts and maybe a new twist for this old favorite. :)

In the meantime, we'll leave you with the final story written by one of our most faithful blog hop participants, Scott Taylor. Thank you, Scott, for your awesome, funny, heartwarming, and creative entries!

Also, if you are really sad now because you really wanted to participate but just hadn't been able to, here's a list of all the prompts of this year so far.

Feel free to write as many stories as you wish and submit them to the link below. (The same rules apply as listed in each prompt!)

We'll publish all the stories when the Blog Hop returns in June! Be inspired and keep writing!

Farewell for now. <3

Your friends and weekly hostesses, Tena Carr, Heather Musk, Debb Stanton, and Leanne Sype

WWBH time again ...

Hi folks! How are we all doing? Each day it seems like the sun is battling with the clouds for dominance in the sky, but more often than not it seems to be winning now.

Spring is arriving in my garden with the new growth coming through and the daffodils establishing themselves. It's the promise of new beginnings, and I can feel the same thing happening within my own spirits.

Talking of new beginnings, it's the beginning of a new week for the WWBH. We have two stories sparked from last weeks prompts, and here they are:

Checkmate by Leanne Sype

Meekahs Forever Home by Tena Carr

So, do you fancy having a go at the WWBH? Just write a ~500 word piece of flash fiction based on the picture prompts that I'll reveal in a moment.
Link up by next Tuesday to the froggy at the bottom, and then on Wednesday we'll reveal what everyone else has come up with.

If you are new to the WWBH, please do check out the full rules and guidelines first, we'd hate to have to omit a story for something minor.

And now to this weeks prompts, which is one picture and five random words:

milkshake, sausage, button, pumpkin, grasshopper

Back on the hop, the WWBH hop!

Hi folks! It's been a little while I know, but I'm still knocking around the blogosphere in a somewhat limited capacity.

Thank you to the comments of encouragement on my Having my doubts ... post. I'm still in a kind of limbo with the whole blogging thing but the good news is that I'm not worrying myself too much about it. Life's too short for all of that, right?

So, we're still rocking over here at the WWBH and Tena has the prompts for us this week. I haven't contributed myself for a little while, but maybe I just will for this one ...

Enjoy!!!

Wishing everyone a Wonderful Wednesday. I hope your week so far has been a great one.

Let's take a look at the two stories from last week's prompt:

Now then on to this week's prompt. I've decided to go with two photos, meaning that your story must include and be related to the two pictures that I will provide below.....

But first, here is a quick run-through of the rules (for a more in-depth look head over to my main WWBH Page
  • Write a 500 word (give or take) story related to the prompt (either two photos or one photo/five words)
  • In the case of five words, your words must be clearly indicated in the story
  • Please remember the photos used are the property of the WWBH Host in question (unless otherwise stated). While you are welcome to use the photo in your blogpost, please do not share as your own works (credit is very much appreciated).
  • Please make mention that your story is for the Writer Wednesday Blog Hop (WWBH). While not required, a link to the hop is appreciated. Also appreciated is if you tag your story WWBH (and don't forget to link up to the blue froggy below)
  • Any questions contact one of the WWBH blog hop hosts: Leanne, Heather, or myself

OK then.... The two photos to inspire your story

{So you know, my son helped me in choosing the two photos}

And lastly.... Make sure you link to the froggy below so we may include your story in next week's hop kick-off.

What's that coming over the hill, is it a ... WWBH prompt, what else!

Hi folks! The past week really has just flown by, don't you think? I didn't even have time to stop and write anything for last weeks WWBH prompt, and it's left me feeling empty.

Don't worry though, Leanne is here with another prompt for the coming week. Knock yourselves out ...

(Although, not literally :-) )

http://readingwritingeverything-heather.blogspot.co.uk/p/writer-wednesday-blog-hop.html

Oh how I am so glad an entire week has passed. Last week, I was sick with one of the most painful viruses I have ever experienced in my life. It sounds dramatic, and believe me it was. But like most viruses, it was done wreaking havoc in a week's time. So Wednesday feels extra nice this week!

Speaking of viruses, we have a fresh Writer Wednesday Blog Hop photo prompt today! Wait... huh? (There really is no smooth transition for heinous virus to blog hop, humor me. :) ) But there is nothing "sickly" about the stories that came through from last week's prompt (see what I did there? Okay... I'll stop.).

Check out these awesome creations and be sure to leave some comment love for the author's okay?

Rekindled by Bronwyn Marcus

Proposal in a Shoe by Tena Carr

Getting Ready by Sally Stackhouse

Fun, huh? Okay, here's the short version of how to do the blog hop. If you are a first-timer, please click here for the full description of the guidelines.

1) Use the photo and the provided five chosen words in your story.
2) Keep your word count 500 or less (or a few more words if they're needed...).
3) You have until next Tuesday night to link up your story.
4) Use the Blue frog below to add your story at Leanne's or Tena's websites and follow the instructions.
5) Have fun, don't stress, and let those creative juices flow!

Here is your photo and five words:

One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, now WWBH go!

http://readingwritingeverything-heather.blogspot.co.uk/p/writer-wednesday-blog-hop.html

Hi folks!

It's Wednesday again, mid-week, hump-day, whatever you like to call it. How's everyone's week been going so far? Mine has been pretty productive, surprisingly, and I seem to be on the verge of settling into a writing groove. I don't like to talk it up too much though, I don't want to scare it away ...

So, did you all enjoy the stories on the WWBH prompts last week? Did you fancy having a go but just didn't get around to it? Well, don't fret, we have a fresh prompt for you right here, to get your writing taste buds a-tingling.

First, though, we have two stories in response to last weeks photo and word prompt:

Skins by Leanne Sype

To take part yourself, just write a ~500 word piece of flash fiction based on the picture prompts that I'll reveal in a moment.
Link up by next Tuesday to the froggy at the bottom, and then on Wednesday we'll reveal how everyone else has been inspired. We'll also have a brand new prompt for you to get your teeth into.

If you are new to the WWBH, please do check out the full rules and guidelines first, we'd hate to have to omit a story for something minor.

For this week I've gone for a bit of a romantic spin, seeing as it is 14th February this weekend. I don't do anything soppy myself (my husband and I are going to a rugby match for our celebrations, so excited!) but I know some of you are itching to get your romance side exercised. So, take these for a spin and let us know how you get on ...

Go forth, and write! - a WWBH prompt post

Hi folks!

This weeks Writer Wednesday blog hop is in the safe hands of Tena Carr, who is talking a little about deadlines and missing them. I'm sure she didn't see my IWSG post before hand ...

Are you on the hop?

If any of you have kids in school you've probably had to deal with the Science Fair. I swear every school does them, every year.

Since we had been homeschooling our son for a few years, previous to moving to Arizona and putting him into the school system here, we hadn't had to deal with the whole Science Fair mess (and believe me it can be a royal mess). Once again, like last year, we're hitting that last minute mark and rushing to get everything done and ready to go -- You know what I mean - late night, early morning, throwing it all together.

And wouldn't you know the project was due yesterday, the day I should have been putting together this week blog hop... Not much of an excuse considering the project was due in the morning and I had all day to throw something together, but then I spent the whole rest of the day going on little sleep and a husband who had 2 doctors appointments and had also decided that we should spend the day out (between appointments and picking up our son) doing shopping and other errands.....

And.... Ohhh dear, I'm going on and on, and you guys are wanting to know about this week's Hop.

Right, getting back on track... But first, real quick (I promise), we are starting up our blog hop "Featured Writer" button again. Each month a random winner is chosen and a button is created (or you can create your own) and featured on our blogs (Leanne, Heather, and myself; There is also Debb who is on a brief sabbatical who might also put up the monthly "Featured Writer" button). Also, a short blurb will be written in our 'beginning of the month' Hop.

So how does the Featured Writer thing work? Each time you submit a story, after submitting 3, your name goes into a "digital" hat each month. A random winner is chosen from that "hat" to be our Featured Writer... this month it's Scott Taylor

ScottyTaylor

So why not head on over and check out his blog (just make sure you return back here for the blog hop). Scott is one of our regular submitees (ok I'm not sure if there is such a word or if I'm even closing to spelling correctly). He was our top writer (number of submissions for 2014, and I think maybe 2013). For the longest time he was well known, here, for his Cap't Monkey & Tooele Boy short stories (I think he's taken a bit of a break from the Capt Monkey stories, but not from writing short stories).

And, of course, last week's entries:

All-righty, so, on to this week's hop. Since I've already put in so much preliminary info into this blog I won't go into all the rules - You can view them on the WWBH page.

Briefly:
  • 500 words (give or take)
  • must include the 2 photos; or the photo and the 5 words must be prominent (bolded) in your story, Please give proper credit (don't steal/share pics as your own)
  • while not required a brief mention of the blog hop would be much appreciated...

The 5 Words to be used this week are:
Dispose
Practical
Gun
Commit
Position

And the photo the story must be about:

Once you've written your story, don't forget to submit via the froggy below:

Look out, the WWBH's about!

Hi folks!

It's that time again, and I'm just squeezing in this post before heading out for a day of work. Working one day a week at the moment, it's tough I tell you!

Today Leanne has the prompts to delight those writing taste buds ...

 http://readingwritingeverything-heather.blogspot.co.uk/p/writer-wednesday-blog-hop.html

Hello, friends!

Three weeks down, one to go! Can you believe we're rounding out January already? How are those New Year resolutions coming along?

Well, if you resolved to write more or to explore your creative side, you're invited to participate in our weekly Writer Wednesday Blog Hop. Check it out!

Here are the awesome story entries from last week's prompt:

Tea and Other Things by Veronica Fitzhugh
(Welcome to the blog hop Veronica!)

Back Home by Debb Stanton

The Airplane Ride by Scott Taylor

New Plan by Leanne Sype

Changes by Sally Stackhouse

They're Coming by HJ Musk

Here is the short version of the how the blog hop works. For the complete instructions click here:
  • We ask that you try to keep your story to approximately 500 words, give or take.
  • Please remember that the photos used are the property of the hostess for that week (unless otherwise stated). Please do not share these photos as your own (ie: give proper credit when using as a part of your hop and please do not use anywhere else on your blog). And please refrain from adding other photos to your blog story.
  • Link your story through the blue frog at bottom of the prompt by the following Tuesday (direct link to story, not your whole blog, please). If you are unable or need help, contact your hop hostess via the comments:Leanne, Heather, or Tena
  • Most important of all – Have Fun! Take your writing seriously, but let those creative juices flow! Don’t fret/panic/pass out/hyperventilate/lose sleep/run in fear over the blog hop, instead let this be an exercise in letting the imagination run wild while staying within the discipline of flash-fiction—short and compelling!

Last but not least, here are your prompt photos for this week.

Remember to work both photos into your story:

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it's the WWBH swooping in again!

Hi folks!

How is your week going so far? Mine has been a bit up and down. We've had a lot of bugs in the house over the weekend, so I feel like I've been thrown off with my daily to-do lists. I've spent the last couple of days playing catchup, but I think I'm getting there. I haven't missed a deadline just yet.

“I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.”
Douglas Adams,
The Salmon of Doubt

Unlike Mr Adams, I'd prefer not to let the deadlines whoosh by me, I've spent far too much time letting that happen already. I want to be making progress at last!

Speaking of deadlines, we have a nice selection of stories from last weeks writing prompt, so get your flash fiction fill with these offerings:

So Thirsty  by Leanne Sype

The Old Salt Mine by Scott Taylor

Salt Lessons by Debb Stanton

The Decision by Sally

Determined to Finish  by Tena Carr

Unwelcome Guest by Heather Musk

If these tales have whetted your appetite and enticed you to write your own story, then we'd love to read it and share it with everyone. We only have a few guidelines in place to keep it fair for everyone, which you can read in full here.

All you need to do is write a ~500 word piece of flash fiction based on the picture prompt and five random words that I'll reveal in a moment.
Link up by next Tuesday to the froggy at the bottom, and then wait until Wednesday to read what everyone else came up with and to see what new prompts are in store.

If you are new to the WWBH, please do check out the full rules and guidelines first, we'd hate to have to omit a story for something minor.

OK, so now to the fun part, the new prompts for next week. Are you ready?

novel, socks, morals, spar, stool

New prompts for a new week, it's WWBH time!

Hello to all! How are we doing? Settling in to 2015 yet, or still getting over the holiday blues? I can't decide which I'm doing but hopefully I'll readjust soon.

I did manage to submit a story to last weeks WWBH though, so I'm making some progress. Tena has the details of the hop this week, and you can find the link to my story as well as the new prompts to get your mind whirring.

So, what are you waiting for ...
WriterWednesdayButton

Welcome everyone to another week of WWBH.

Here are the lovely entries from last week:

Jeremy's Imagination by Debb Stanton
Father and Son on a Walk by Scott Taylor
Peggy Piper's Lucky Day by Leanne Sype
A Case of Bad Luck by Tena Carr
Find a penny, pick me up by Heather Musk
So, on to this week. First a quick review of the rules (for a more detailed look please visit the main WWBH page

This week I will be doing the "2 Picture" style prompt. Your story must include and, somehow, tie together the 2 photos (which I will give you below).
  • While not strictly mandatory, we do ask that you reference the blog hop (a link back to here or to the WWBH page for 2015 - http://tainiwrites.wordpress.com/writer-wednesday-blog-hop-2/2015-writer-wednesday-blog-hop/ - would be nice) so that others might join in.
  • Link your story through the blue frog at bottom of the prompt by the following Tuesday (direct link to story, not your whole blog, please). If you are unable or need help, contact your hop hostess via the comments: Leanne, Heather, or Tena
  • Most important of all - Have Fun! Take your writing seriously, but let those creative juices flow! Don’t fret/panic/pass out/hyperventilate/lose sleep/run in fear over the blog hop, instead let this be an exercise in letting the imagination run wild while staying within the discipline of flash-fiction—short and compelling!
So here are your 2 photos for this week:

Have fun with this. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Make this your first prompt of the year - a WWBH post

Hello to all on this chilly Wednesday afternoon! At least, it's chilly where I am.

So, how are you doing with your New Years Resolutions? I've established a couple of goals for myself this year, check out my first IWSG post for 2015 to fine out what I'm up to.

Are you planning on writing more this year? Need some inspiration or, dare I say it, prompting? Well you've come to the 'write' place. Today we are kicking off our first Writer Wednesday blog hop for 2015, and if you carry on reading Leanne has all the details ...

WriterWednesdayButton

Welcome to the Writer Wednesday Blog Hop 2015!

We've spent the last few weeks celebrating the creative authors and stories that came through last year's prompts, and we're inviting you to join us again or for the first time to a fresh new year of prompts and stories.

Writer Wednesday Blog Hop (WWBH) is a weekly writing prompt created to inspire you to:

  ~ flex your creative muscles.
~ practice the discipline of writing compelling material within specific perimeters.
~ join a community of writers for the sake of encouragement, support, and audience growth.

"Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we're all in this together."
~Brene Brown

Your blog hop hostesses (a.k.a. the people bringing you the prompts each week) are: Tena Carr, Heather Musk, and Leanne Sype. We have a lot of fun getting to know each other and new authors as they drop in through out the year!

You don't have to qualify to join our community or even wait until a certain time. Simply check here every Wednesday for the new prompt and if your muse gets excited, channel that energy into creating a story and submit it. You're always invited! And bring a friend!

We post all the entries (as per the instructions below) for each prompt every Wednesday with the link to your blog so readers can easily hop on over to get to know you, your work, and your audience. Before we get to our first prompt of the year, how does one "do" the blog hop? (Bear with us as we post the long version):

1) You will see one of two prompts each week--either one photo with five mandatory words OR two photos to be incorporated together. Use the photo(s) and prompt to write a 500-word story; all elements of the prompt must be a feature in the brief story you create.
2) When 1 photo/5 words is the theme, the 5 words MUST be clearly referenced in your story. Variations on a word are allowed within reason (for example: adding s, ed, ing to the word to be grammatically correct); however, creating a new, unrelated, word is not okay... because it simply isn't part of the prompt.
3) We ask that you keep your story to approximately 500 words (give or take). We aren't counting but, please, no 1000-word entries.
4) PHOTOS: Photos are the property of the hostess for the week, unless otherwise mentioned. In order to honor the community-purpose of the blog hop and to avoid confusion:
~ Please Do Not share photos and/or prompt words as your own.
~ Please include the photo(s) and reference the blog hop in your post so your blog audience and the blog hop community may all be connected.
~ Please do not include extra photos into your story... Thank you so much for understanding! Let us know if you have questions on this. :)
5) Link your story through the blue frog at the bottom of the prompt by the following Tuesday (direct link to story, not your whole blog, please). If you are unable or need help, contact your hop hostess via the comments: Leanne, Heather, or Tena.
We do reserve the right to not publish your entry if your submission does not adhere to these instructions... not because we are mean, but because we want to keep this prompt fair for all participants. :)
6) Have Fun! Take your writing seriously, but let those creative juices flow! Don’t fret/panic/pass out/hyperventilate/lose sleep/run in fear over the blog hop, instead let this be an exercise in letting the imagination run wild while staying within the discipline of flash-fiction—short and compelling!
Here is your first prompt for 2015:
PennyontheGround
Mandatory (and randomly generated) words to include in your story:

bottle
ostrich
schedule
binder
spoon

Something different for the WWBH!

It is the first Wednesday of December already (what!), and you can find my IWSG post for this month here.

The festive season is rapidly approaching, and although I'm far more organised than in previous years I still feel like I'm lagging behind with my plans.

For December, we are doing something slightly different with the WWBH. We know that this time of year is very busy, so we want to make this as simple and as fun as we can. I'll hand you over to our wonderful Debb who has all the details ...

our hops for the month of December

Hello all - Happy December! This new month brings us the holidays and also a different way to do our blog hop. Hang onto your hat -- and I'll tell you all about it!

All of December at the Writer Wednesday Blog Hop will feature past stories from our hops throughout 2014. You can find the stories by going to a blog hop hostess blog (click links at the bottom of this post) and search for "Writer Wednesday Blog Hop". Or, Tena has a neat page on her blog that chronicles the hops for this year: see it here:

How you can participate:

For the blog hops for December 24 and 31, we are looking to publish a list of your favorites (and ours) from the year. We encourage all our readers (whether with us a long time or brand new to our hop) to read through the stories and pick not one, but THREE of your favorite stories from the hop. :) (If time does not permit, because after all, it IS December, one favorite will do. It's just that we want a lot of choices in the hopper. :)) Send your favorites to: tenachannah@gmail.com.

Deadline for December 24 and 31: December 17.

WEEKS OF DECEMBER 3, 10, AND 17: Each week, Debb will not give a prompt(s), but rather a suggestion on what prompt to write about. Stay tuned for a fun challenge!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The prompt for this week is.....{drum roll} Read all the blog hop prompts for 2014. Write for a prompt that you always meant to but somehow just ran out of time. If you don't have one of those stories in the back of your mind, we ask you to pick one - any one - and stretch those muscles. :) Please don't forget to click on the blue froggy below so we can all be connected.
If you need some inspiration, or a bit of a nudge in the 'write' direction, here are the awesome stories that used last week's prompts:
 As usual, the same blog hop rules apply as for any other week.
Link up here -
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

NEW FEATURE FOR DECEMBER: If you feel inspired to write more than one story per week, we will not turn the extra stories away! For example, there are a number of prompts already on my mind that I wanted to write for but couldn't at the time. Now will be my chance to rectify that (hopefully).

Warmly, Debb Stanton

Happy Thanksgiving with the WWBH!

A Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American bloggers, and how about celebrating with a new prompt on the WWBH?

Debb is taking the lead for us this week, with new prompts and the stories from last week. Enjoy ...

follow-up to last week's blog hop prompts

Hello everyone, and happy Thanksgiving week!

'Tis a good time to be thankful! I would like to mention the gratefulness I have for (to name but a few) my fellow blog hop hostesses and the writers who grace our pages with their delightful stories. And my oh my, I was so impressed by Heather's photo prompt last week that I knew I wanted to write for it; but my current editing assignments took over. No entry from Mrs. Stanton this week. :(

Here are some wonderful reading options for you from last week's prompts:

Do you have a burning desire to participate in the blog hop? There is a little matter of rules ... we'd like to hear from you, but please follow the rules in order to make this fun and fair for all.

I will post the rules for using the two picture type of prompt, which I am using this week.

1) Use the photos to write a 500-word story; both photos must be a feature in the brief story you create. We aren't counting, but for the fairness of the readers please, no 1000+ word entries.

2) The photos must be visible in your blog post.

3) Photos are the property of the hostess for the week, unless otherwise mentioned. Please do not share photos as your own.

4) In order to honor the community-purpose of the blog hop, we ask that you please reference the blog hop in your post (you can even display the Writer Wednesday Blog Hop badge if you desire) so your blog audience and the blog hop community may all be connected.

5) WHERE TO SEND YOUR STORY HAS CHANGED, JUST FOR THIS WEEK. I AM NOT ABLE TO GET THE CODE FOR THE BLUE FROGGY, SO PLEASE JUST SHOOT ME AN EMAIL TO: stantonsunshine@gmail.net WITH YOUR NAME, NAME OF YOUR BLOG, AND YOUR STORY, AND I WILL GET IT TO THE OTHER HOSTESSES NEXT WEEK. THANK YOU!

If you have any questions or need any help don't hesitate to contact one of the hop hosts: Tena, Debb, or Heather (our fourth host Leanne is on a sabbatical due to health concerns and we ask that you continue to keep her in your prayers for complete recovery and return to full health).

DO NOT USE THE BLUE FROGGY THIS WEEK BUT INSTEAD SEND YOUR NAME, NAME OF YOUR BLOG, AND YOUR STORY TO stantonsunshine@gmail.com.

Okay, okay, I can hear you say, "Come on with the prompts already!" :)

Let me just say: the picture on the left is pretty traditional for this time of year, but your story does not have to be about the holiday of Thanksgiving.

The picture on the right was chosen for its uniqueness (and out of my curiosity to see how you blend the themes of the two pictures). :)

A prompt a day, or at least every week ...

Hello to all on this fine Wednesday, I hope the past week has been kind.

As I sit and write this it's 6 o'clock in the morning and all is peaceful. The babies and my husband are still fast asleep, it's dark outside and I have the side lamps on. It's this time of day that I enjoy, that I get to collect my thoughts before the bustle of the day begins. It doesn't always last long so I have to make the most of it, once the littlies are up that peace is shattered.

Still, I wouldn't be without them ;-)

And, seeing as it's Wednesday, how about a fresh prompt to keep you going through the week?

Here are the stories from last week, spawned from one picture and five words. I hope they give you inspiration to have a go yourself:

The Will to Serve by Debb Stanton

The Service by Sally

So, if you're new to the blog hop, why not be encouraged by these wonderful stories, and try your own hand at it. We'd all love to read and share whatever you have to offer.

As a little reminder, here are the rules:

1) Use the photo(s) and prompt to write a 500-word story; all elements of the prompt must be a feature in the brief story you create. We aren't counting, but for the fairness of the readers please, no 1000+ word entries.
2) The Photo(s) must be visible in your blog post and where 1 photo/5 words is the theme, the 5 words MUST be clearly referenced in your story. Variations on a word are allowed within reason (for example: adding s, ed, ing to the word to be grammatically correct); but creating a new, unrelated, word is not. (To see an example of a "1 photo/5 word" story see Faith, Hope, Love, and Pink by one of our hosts, Debb Stanton.)
3) Photos are the property of the hostess for the week, unless otherwise mentioned. Please Do Not share photos and/or prompt words as your own.
4) In order to honor the community-purpose of the blog hop, we ask that you please reference the blog hop in your post so your blog audience and the blog hop community may all be connected.
5) Link your story through the blue froggy at bottom by the following Tuesday (direct link to story, not your whole blog, please).

And now to the good stuff, the prompts for this week:
salt, galaxy, denim, trap, magician

Have fun, and don't forget to sign up your story once you're finished!
